Doherty Clinical Trials Ltd is designed to accelerate the development of novel medicines and vaccines for key partners and industry clients. Our primary focus is the safety of our participants through the implementation of high-quality and ethical clinical research.
Currently in development, our facility will be the only of its kind in Australia: purpose-built to deliver human challenge trials (HCTs). Although HCTs are the key differentiator for our business, we add value to clinical development through a range of early-phase clinical solutions, including Phase I healthy volunteer trials.
All trials are supported by broad networks of clinical trial expertise, including some of the world’s leading hospital clinicians and research scientists. We offer clients tailored support for their clinical development objectives through access to comprehensive expertise across Melbourne’s Parkville Biomedical Precinct including the Doherty Institute, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and Walter and Eliza Hall Institute.

Doherty Clinical Trials Limited is proud to announce the commencement of the CHIVAS-M1 study (Controlled Human Infection for Vaccination Against Streptococcus pyogenes M1UK), which will help drive medical research and development of a vaccine against Streptococcus pyogenes, otherwise known as Strep A.
