View MoreResearch shows that conventional influenza vaccines in older adults are relatively less effective, due to the aging of the immune system and underlying medical conditions that could interfere with immune responses. With people 65 years and older at higher risk of developing serious influenza complications, it is important to develop influenza vaccines that are more effective in this age group.
That’s why we’re inviting people aged 65 years or older to take part in our clinical study, which is testing a new influenza vaccine designed to have improved effectiveness in older populations.
There are no overnight stays required for this study. This study involves at least 3 clinic visits and 1 phone call over approximately 6 months. Additional home and clinic visits may be required.
